Abdur Rashid Chaudhary

He has rich national (Pakistan) & international (Zambia, Nigeria, Cambodia, Afghanistan) experience to his credit in Management, Interpersonal Skills, Capacity Building, Livelihood, Training & Material Development, Community & Rural Development, Social Mobilization, Agriculture Extension, Supply Chain and Farmer Field Schools. Mr. Chaudhary served Program & Projects of United Nations, FAO, UNDP, ERA, Asian Development Bank, Establishment of Model Farmer Project Govt. Of Punjab etc. In Pakistan he has not only designed & delivered capacity building and training programs in diversified disciplines for NRSP, SANGI Foundation, Islamic Relief, PRSP, WWF, FAO, Plan International, Action Aid, Human Development Foundation HDF, Save the Children, Pakistan Institute of Management, Punjab Education Foundation, CABI Government Departments, etc., but also contributed in the development of instructional and training material (training manuals and modules) for these programs. He have had the opportunity to contribute in formal education at master’s level in universities like Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad, Agriculture University Peshawar, University of Rawalakot (AJK) and University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. He has also organized & conducted large number of training for teachers with thousands of beneficiaries. He holds following membership:

 Dr. Khalid Masud

Khalid Masud holds PhD degree in Agric. Extension and two Mater degrees (Educational Planning and Management and Agric. Extension). To nurture his knowledge and upgrade his skills, he has participated in a number of professional trainings, workshops, seminars and expert consultation meetings within the country(Pakistan) and abroad like USA, UK, Holland, Italy, Turkey, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnams, Philippine and Indonesia largely in the fields of project management, human resource development and community development.
Masud has served the Government of Pakistan (Federal & provincial level), UN organizations, international NGOs and national/international consulting firms in management/advisory positions for more than two decades. He has also been engaged as visiting professor for five years with the Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi.
His contribution as team leader includes: Establishment of the Directorate of Skill Training, ABAD, Rawalpindi & Instituting the Directorate of Technology Transfer, National Agricultural Research Centre, Islamabad under the public sector; Strengthening of the In Service Agricultural Training Institute, AJK under FAO; Setting up of the Extension Services Management Academy, AJK under UNDP and review of the Refugee Affected and Hosting Areas (RAHA) Program-run under one UN Program in Pakistan.
Masud is also having rich experience of constancy assignments for conducting surveys, undertaking TNA, developing curricula, and assessing early relief/rehabilitation operations, capacity building of staff/community for introducing new programs, off farm income generation and literacy through skill training with variety of client organizations. His academic background and work profile have enriched him with a good set of technical and interpersonal skills.

Haq Nawaz Khan

He holds Master’s Degree in Agriculture. He has retired as Director General Agriculture, AJK. His expertise includes: Administration and Management; Public Rationing; Coordination; Planning & Implementing Livelihood programs; Training Development & Organization; Organizational Capacity Building; Institutional Development; Project Management; Monitoring & Evaluation of Project & its Personnel; Planning & Conducting Qualitative Research using PRA tools/techniques.

 

Dr. Ijaz

He earned Ph.D. degree in Agronomy from the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences Vienna Austria; Professionally qualified agronomist; has attended a number of professional trainings; started his career in October 1973 as Development Officer under the integrated Rural Development Programme and since has worked in the development sector in different positions with a number of organizations namely Agricultural Development Bank of Pakistan, Tarseel Enterprises, Rabta International Consultants and Management Associates, Organic Food Growers, Development and Management Consultants, Mot McDonald Pakistan (MMP), Pakistan Horticulture Development and Export Board under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan; short term consultancies CBI Rotterdam Holland. His expertise in Crop production technology, Agribusiness, Value chain, Entrepreneurship, Monitoring and Evaluation, Export supply chain, Project development and Research studies.

 

Muhammad Iqbal

Post-graduate in Agricultural Economics with specialization in Agricultural Marketing from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad and Fellow of the Economic Development Institute of the World Bank; started professional career in February 1972 and served in national and international organizations in different positions, lastly as Chief Operating Officer, Pakistan Horticulture Development & Export Company under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan. Total work experience over 39 years including over 10 years in UN system with Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and United Nations Development Program in-country and overseas; undertook a number of short-term international and national assignments as well; agribusiness planning and development in general and horticultural supply chain development in particular remained area of focus.

 

Abdur Rahim Khan

He is well known post-harvest expert. He has designed an executed many projects in the field of post-harvest across the country. He contributed a lot in the development of post-harvest field by offering consultancy services not only to public sector but also to private sectors like produces, traders, manufacturers etc. A large number of trainings to farmers goes to his credit. He is very good researcher and is handling post-harvest research in Ayub Research Institute Faisalabad. He holds membership of sub committee for quality assurance of mango and kinnow, Pakistan HVACR society, Think Tank (World Food Preservation Centre) USA, Pakistan society of food scientists and technologists, Horticulture foundation of Pakistan and Associate trainer & consultant in NPO Pakistan. He has served as Assistant Postharvest Technologist in Post-Harvest Research Centre AARI Faisalabad, Assistant Research Officer in Post-Harvest Research Centre AARI Faisalabad, Manager (Coordination) Supply Chain Management Unit in Government of the Punjab Lahore, Assistant Research Officer in Biochemistry Section AARI Faisalabad, Assistant Research Officer in Sugarcane Research Institute AARI Faisalabad, Projects Development, Development of Equipment Machinery/ Equipment, Developmental Activities in Private Sector and Associate in Academia (MSc/PhD).

Dr. Dilshad Hussain

He holds Master degree in Clinical Medicine and Surgery. He has served in senior positions like Advisor, Director and Manager in variety of organizations like Agriculture Market Development Project (USAID), MA Agriculture Farms, School of Veterinary Science UMT Lahore, Riphah College of Veterinary Sciences, Eastern Dairies, Livestock Production Research Institute Kherimurat. He has not only contributed in Livestock research but also taught at University level. He has been providing consultancy in Livestock to National Rural Support Program, Sindh Rural Support Program, Northern Area Development Project, ICARDA etc. He holds membership Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council, Pakistan Agriculture Scientific Forum, Pakistan Association for the Advancement of Science, Pakistan Veterinary Medical Association. His expertise includes Agribusiness, Livestock, Management, Breeding and Capacity building.

 

Waqar Awan

Is a Lawyer by profession and practice & Human Resource Expert by interest and experience. He has intensive experience of working with prestigious national and international organizations. He has been working for more than Twenty years in the field of Organizational Consultancy, Research Study Design and Development, Labor Rights, Human Rights, Rule of law, Governance and Training & Development. He is versatile professional, proficient in consultative program designing. He has successfully generated development issues related materials, including research studies, reports, proposals, presentations, and manuals. During all these years he has been engaged in different projects funded by multilateral and bilateral donors including UNODC, GIZ, ILO, UN Women, UNDP, EU and PPAF. During his professional life, he had close interaction with Government functionaries such as Ministry of Law, Justice& Human Rights, Provincial Ministries, Labor Departments and Planning &Development at Federal as well as Provincial level. He has extensive experience in designing life skills based employment training programs. Youth positive engagement focused projects includes WEE (Women Empowerment through Employment) and IYF Work force development project. He would like to take up a challenging opportunity that will take full advantage of his Law and HR expertise and interpersonal skills as well.
